Materials for HP Multijet Fusion Technology Presented by Aleix Oriol, HP Inc. at the 3D Printing Materials Conference which will take place on 2 February 2017 at Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen, The Netherlands.

HPs MultiJet Fusion Technology irruption into the 3D printing market represents the start of the journey from Prototyping to full scale Production. In order to enable production quality parts for the different applications/segments the choice of materials available should be both diverse and affordable. HPs open system unlocks this materials development opportunity and provides, for manufacturers, a unique platform to develop faster their own palette of materials. This faster and open development ability and obviously the talent of developers to find innovative materials will dictate the speed at which digital production can surpass traditional manufacturing in the different verticals.

Aleix Oriol is the Writing Systems and Materials manager of the 3D Printing R&D Dept. in Sant Cugat (Barcelona). He is responsible of the development of the MJF 3D print engine and of the performance of the MJF printers and materials in terms of part quality and speed. He started working at HP as a 2D printing Writing System Engineer and since then he has been holding a number of engineering and management positions within the R&D Dept.  He completed his B.Sc. in Engineering, another one in Economics, and also holds an MBA from the ESADE business school.
